Dear Ellie, Sister Shelly, and the whole Smith Family:
My love and prayers are with all of you today as you celebrate the life of our Corky. We were so. . . blessed to share so many healthy, joyful years with Corky. I will always remember him well, especially, the magic--both personality and tricks--he brought to my life. I believe the Lord our Father called him home, so he would suffer no longer on Earth. Additionally, I believe Jesus our God with send the gift of Grace for our Ellie--who will miss her husband and friend most--to find peace in knowing Corky is with his Father. Just think, Corky was met by all those who went before him to welcome him to the life of eternity and love with open arms!!
I am so sorry I could not join all of you at his memorial and reception, but I will pray in silence with you from afar. Respectfully, in honor of Corky's request, I have made a donation to the Mount Olive Building Fund; I know he will be pleased to know the Lord's work will go on in his absence!!
