We have been next door neighbors of Ed and Mary Lou in Havasu for many years. We remember the two of them on their back patio, enjoying the sunset & saying, “there’s nothing like a Havasu sunset!” We will miss Ed’s greeting in the morning from their kitchen window. Lance remembers a funny story from years ago. Ed saw Lance outside and told him he had a major problem. His beer tapper had broken and he needed help finishing the keg. Lance grabbed a couple pitchers & was glad to help out! :) What wonderful neighbors they have been. We will miss you Ed.

He was a great man, that I feel blessed to have such fond memories of! He lived life with a don, and was always bringing joyful lightheartedness out of every encounter, with a commanding demeanour.

What a delight you were Ed! You were the best Granpop to us Kids and we all loved spending time with you so much! Not only did you make us laugh that hard our tummies hurt, you were so kind hearted, strong minded, wise, generous and just an all round beautiful soul! I will cherish every memory I have with you and hold them close to my heart! I will never forget the bear hugs, I'm going to miss those! Honestly, I'm so grateful to have been part of your life. You're a rare diamond and shined so brighly in everyones heart! Love you Granpop Ed! We'll meet again in the next life xxx

Ed, you may have not been my real grandad, but to me you were and you were the best in the world. I loved your visits and always had the best times. I remember our trips to Brighton pier and London and I remember you sneaking me extra sweeties when mum wasn't looking. You were such a kind, funny soul, always being cheeky and making me laugh so much. Those are some of my best childhood memories and I will cherish them forever. I only wish I got to see you more in my adult life and that you got to meet my two children as they would have adored you and loved you as much as I did. I love you and miss you. You will forever be in my heart, until we meet again.

Ed and Mary Lou enjoyed a full life of fun, adventure, and love! They travelled across the globe, motorbiked across the states, enjoyed numerous cruises and frequently visited me and Mary Lou's grandkids in the UK! Ed was always great with the kids and they adored him - they thought Mary Lou and Ed actually lived in Brighton when they were younger because of Ed and Mary Lou's frequent trips out! Luckily 3 out 5 of the now adult kids were able to visit after covid lifted and see Ed in the last two years! Ed will be missed (his jokes...maybe less so!).
