Obituary of Aalliyah Maria Calvert

Please share a memory of Aalliyah to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Aalliyah “Lia” Marie Calvert passed away in Lake Havasu City, AZ on November 9, 2022, at the age of 16. Lia was born and raised in Lake Havasu. She was in her senior year of high school. At the age of 15, she started working at Dairy Queen, before moving on to McDonald’s. She was eccentric in everything she did. She loved to sing, dance, paint, and was an avid crafter. She was a member of the WAVE program, and played volleyball and basketball. Lia is preceded in death by her cousin; Joseph Fenderson, step-grandmother; Christina Faulkner, and great-grandfather; A Lloyd Davidson. She is survived by her mother; Tamara Faulkner, father; Christopher Calvert, brother; Axyl Woodward, sisters; Hailey Kutnyak, Lexi Kutnyak, and Ryleigh Kutnyak, grandparents; Linda and Keith Friedly, Debra and Bill Calvert, and Howard Faulkner. Lia’s smile could light up any room. She was a gleaming ray of sunshine all the time. While goofy and fun, she was fiercely independent. She loved beyond all means and was loved by all. She is the Stitch to her family. Donations are welcome to the family’s GoFundMe at https://gofund.me/dceb70b2. “Ohana means family, and family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten.”
