Aalliyah was a bright light and had so much potential! She was always friendly and smiling. She was a light on my school bus from day one. I got to know her better than most students as I only had a few during the pandemic. Loved her outlook and her personality. This is truly a tragedy and she will be missed. She would have done great things with her life.

i could never just pick one memory with her. she was always the light of the room, she could make anyone laugh, but for this i'll have to pick the weekend of apr 8th- 11th 2022. theyre we're many memories made that weekend, if you walked up to the whole friend group at the time and started talking about "the weekend" we would all know what you were talking about.
lia took care of so many people when she couldn't take care of herself, she saved so many people's lives, including mine multiple times. lia would never pick sides or hold grudges. she loved everyone and i know in the end she forgave everyone for any wrongs or petty arguments.
she's happy now, i mean genuinely happy, i could be upset and cry over and over again it won't bring her back, i know she wouldn't want anyone to wither away. so i have to be happy, for her and for her freedom.
she no longer needs to follow the rules, she's made the biggest impact in my life. i'll never forget her, she was and always will be my best friend.
