Around 2005, I was Richard's patient. At that time we found that we were born within hours of one another on 1/21/1937. Afterward, each year one of us would phone the other with birthday wishes, always hoping to beat the other to the phone. After learning of an issue I had during our annual call on January 21, 2020, during COVID, Richard kindly offered his services to help. We had an opportunity to share some of our lives during this time, I consider him a friend and it was privilege to know him. Robert Leisten
