Obituary of Donnell Suzanne Cook

Donnell Cook Obituary On Wednesday January 27th, 2021, Donnell Cook, loving mother and grandmother passed away at the age of 73 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Donnell was born on January 10th, 1948 in Torrance California to Donnie and Barbara Cook. She graduated from Torrance High School in 1966. She later went on to work at McDonnell Douglas aircraft before becoming a homemaker. Years later she got her cosmetology license and opened her own beauty shop 9th St West in Saugus Ca. She later moved to Placerville CA, Valley Springs CA, back to Saugus then finally settled in Lake Havasu City Az. Donnell is survived by her sister Kathleen Cook, two children Cary Purves and Wendy Salkeld, daughter in law Beverly Kennedy, seven grandchildren Jared Kennedy, Kaylee Kennedy, Ashton Salkeld, Casey Purves, Caden Salkeld, Cory Purves, and Chloe Purves, and 2 great grandchildren Riley and Jayden. Donnell lived for her children and grandchildren, and was so proud of them. Donnell loved life and lived it to the fullest. She loved to golf, fish, line dance, bowl, craft, roller skate, collect sea shells at the beach and vacation in Maui. She was a member of the Elks Lodge, the Moose Lodge, and the Eagles . Donnell recently wrote and published a children’s book. She was so proud and excited to share it with everyone.
