VIVIAN G. FERNSTROM Vivian G. Fernstrom, 99 years young, also known as Nana passed away on November 1, 2012. She was married 54 years to the love of her life, Russell C. Fernstrom who passed away in 1988. Vivian was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She loved to cook, bake, entertain, travel, oil paint and be with her family and friends. She is survived by her 4 children, Barbara Winnick (Melvin) of Minnesota, James Fernstrom (Janet) of Connecticut, Gerald Fernstrom (Barbara) of Minnesota and Marilyn Rusch of Arizona; 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and nieces & nephews. Services for Vivian will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Vivian's name to Saint Dominic Savio Academy, 1835 East Guadalupe Road, Tempe, AZ 85283 for Kurren Cogan, Vivian's great grandson or Capital Chapterk, 1400 K. Street Northwest Suite 20005, Washington D.C., 20005 c/o JDRF Holden's Hero in Virginia for Holden Fernstrom, Vivian's great grandson.
