As her grandson, I will never forget her giggling, almost like a nervous tick she always had, but it always put the rest of us at ease. Nana was always happy, always smiling, and always busy. I now live right down the road from their old place in Long Lake, and I walk my dog past that house that holds so many memories for myself as a kid. I was so lucky as a grandchild to watch her paint in her back studio of that house, and I would spend hours quietly memorized by her skill while she hummed away with her oil paints. She was blessed by God with her love, talent, and adored by her family and loved ones. I will miss you, Nana!
