Offering my condolence to the family and friends of Ms. Martin. As you cherish the many fond memories, reflect on the time when aging..., sickness... & death... will be conditions of the past! My deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Jackie. I met Jackie when I was in college with Carrie and Kelley. I have so many memories of hanging out at the Martin house and chatting with Jackie. She was always so much fun and would hang out and watch movies with us. I remember thinking that she was such a cool mom. I always thought she was beautiful inside and out and loved to hear stories of her singing when she was younger. I remember her coming to karaoke with us too. When Carrie and I moved to Columbia and got a place together to go to Mizzou I vividly remember Jackie coming to visit us. She made us her famous fettuccine alfredo and we hung out listening to country music. Specifically I remember the song "No place like home" by Randy Travis. I remember wishing she wouldn't leave because she made it feel like home. I do know that Jackie is now "home" and will forever be in our hearts. It's nice to know that there is a special angel in heaven watching over her loved ones. Lots of hugs and prayers to Carrie, Daryl, Kelley, David and Michael.
