May you find comfort in knowing the grief and sorrow we experience is temporary. God’s word is clear, “He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces”. (Isaiah 25:8; Revelation 21:4) Further, “Your dead will live....the earth will let those powerless in death come to life”. (Isaiah 26:19;1Thessalonians 4:14)
As you know, Jesus spoke of the coming resurrection (John 5:21, 28, 29), performed resurrections & was himself resurrected by his Father. All such miraculous events took place on earth, giving us a glimpse of what is to come.....seeing our loved ones again! (Acts 24:15)
Until his promises are fulfilled, may Jehovah God continue to bless & comfort your family and all who knew Mr. Mortland, as you cherish his memory in the days ahead....
