Obituary of Laurie Evelyn Buggia

Laurie Doutre Buggia passed away on March 21, 2018 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. She was born on August 18, 1951 in Saginaw, Michigan.

Laurie brought to everyone around her joy, humor, adventure, love and both sides of serendipity. Her loyal dedication and love for her children, grandchildren and family was unsurpassed. She was a giver and a natural born caretaker. Her special gift for her way with the elderly turned into a dream come true when she opened the doors of Serenity Assisted living in Lake Havasu City where she took care of so many, and still is through her daughter, Julie.

She went out of this world and into the arms of Jesus, her parents; Edward and Lenora, her sister Barb, and her brother-in-law Pat, as well as many other loved ones gone before.

She is survived by her daughter; Julie (Kenny) Northern, son; Michael, sisters; Esther Foy, Kay Vanston, and Ruth (Donald) Ciolek, and her grandchildren; Tristin (Miranda), Ethan, and Chloe.

To Say that Laurie will be missed is an understatement. She left a hole in our hearts too big to ever fill and a reckoning of her presence in our lives.

A Celebration of life will be held at Serenity Assisted living in Laurie's honor on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 pm.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Serenity Assisted Living for the dedication and wonderful care they gave to Laurie. In lieu of flowers, donations to Serenity Assisted Living of Lake Havasu City are greatly appreciated.
