To the Family of Angel Morales,
I did not know Mr. Morales however, I too have experienced the loss of a loved one. During this difficult time may the reminder of God's promises regarding death and the resurrection serve to provide a future hope and a measure of peace now. (Jeremiah 29:11)
I find it comforting to know that death was not God’s purpose for mankind and his purpose has not changed. God’s word says 'death is an enemy' and promises it will be 'brought to nothing'. (1Corinthians 15:26) Further, Jehovah God guarantees that the grief and sorrow we experience is temporary. (Revelation 21:4). It is because of God’s purpose and great love for us, that he guarantees the restoration of life.
Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life...” ( John 11:25) As you know, Jesus not only spoke of the coming resurrection (John 5:21, 28, 29), he himself was resurrected by his Father and performed many miracles including resurrections. So, all resurrections took place on earth giving us a precious glimpse of what is to come.
Because God is a promise keeper (Titus 1:2), we will have the prospect of seeing our loved ones again! (Acts 24:15)
As you cherish the many fond memories of Mr. Morales, may Jehovah God continue to bless your family in the coming days.........
