I served proudly with Gary on the John Adams while we were in the Portsmouth Shipyard in Kittery, ME from 1974 until I departed in August of 1976. We went camping in the White Mountains of NH and had a great time there. He was a great friend and always had a smile on his face. We will toast him at our 50th anniversary next month in Portsmouth.
