Wendellyn Bissonnette, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, passed away November 7, 2016. She was born to Wendell and Evelyn Richardson on April 12, 1942 in Boston, Massachusetts. She was 74 years of age.
Wendellyn attended Deering High School in Portland, Maine. After graduating, she went on to become a CNA at Webber Hospital in Biddeford, Maine. Moving to California afterwards, she became an Activity Director at a nursing home. She also worked as a dog groomer in Maine, California, and Lake Havasu City, Arizona. She always had a very special place in her heart for dogs. Wendellyn went on to become a Real Estate Agent in Arizona.
She loved the ocean and going to the beach. Wendellyn would see a sunrise or sunset and say "yeah God." She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and was always so thoughtful with remembering the things that were important to people. She also enjoyed making crafts and jewelry, writing poems and books, and most importantly making people feel special and bringing a laugh and a smile to the people that knew her.
Wendellyn was preceded in death by her parents, Wendell and Evelyn Richardson and husband, Philip Stebbins.
She is survived by sons, Walter Stebbins, of Biddeford, Maine, Scott Stebbins, of Vancouver, Washington; Daughter, Amy (Jeff) Harrington, of Vancouver, Washington; grandson, Austin Stebbins.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Wendellyn at 11:00am on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at the Realtors Center at 2293 Swanson Avenue, Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
