I had only reconnected with Wendy a year ago.through Facebook. In fact, Wendy was the only reason I joined Facebook. I hadn't seen her since she was in high school and moved to Portland, Maine. She was the so cool cousin who was three years older than I was, but we were never close. Our mothers weren't particularly close. Over this last year I got to know her a bit, but I always sort of thought that there would be time for more of that. It has been a sad day for me today, just finding that she is gone. I really feel I have missed a lot by not knowing her. I think we would have had much in common. You three kids were so lucky to have had her as a mom. Please accept my condolences. I am so sorry that she is gone from your life, but memories will always keep her close. I am grateful that we had some contact, if only toward the end. And i have learned that you cannot count on "tomorrow".
I would love to meet any of you if you ever get to Damariscotta, Maine.

Wendy was a true friend, always there when you needed her to be. We started our Real Estate careers at Mohave Realty many years ago. She has never changed always a great gal. Went to lunch together not long ago and had a long talk. She was consoling me and now she is in heaven with my Jim. Love you Wendy, until we are together again!

Dear Wally, Scott and Amy,
I'm so sorry for the loss of your great Mom Wendy. She was such a nice lady, and so very persuasive. I remember she talked my mother into letting me and Marny take one of her cats home when we were younger. My Mother hated cats but Wendy proved to be her match and the cat went with us to Massachusetts. Not many people could best my mother but Wendy's sweetness prevailed. I think it's so great that she was named after both her mother and father, I didn't know that before. She was unique that Wendy. Her loss will be felt greatly. My thoughts and love are with you all.

Prayers to all of you. The loss of a loved one is so painful but rejoice in the fact that she was such a wonderful blessing to all of us on this earth..Everyone that she ever came in contact with is a better person because of her. God needed another Angel. My heart has an empty space now as I picture her on the Beach in Main with her tablet reading a good book or looking for sea glass..She made me a better person and got me through some tough times in my life. I'm sure you are very proud of the special lady she was. She is in a better place but I cry because I'm missing a special friend.I will see you on Wednesday. Love and prayers to all the family.
