As I read about Elaine I am moved to share a message of comfort from the Bible. I can tell that she was a wonderful person that you will miss greatly. Jehovah God, our heavenly Father never meant death to be, (1 Corinthian 15:25,26) In the future, through his Son Jesus Christ he will bring our dead loved ones back to live on a paradise earth. Elaine will have an opportunity to live forever under peaceful and happy conditions where there is no more war, crime or sickness. (John 5:28,29; Psalm 37:9-11,29; Proverbs 2:21,22; Revelation 21:3,4)
This will be because God's heavenly Kingdom or government will soon act to remove all wickedness here. (Matthew 6:10; Daniel 2:44)
In the meantime please be assured that Jehovah hurts with you, longing to resurrect Elaine. (Job 14:14,15) She is in a death-like sleep and he will soon awaken her. (John 11:11) May the knowledge and hope in the resurrection ease your grief and help you to cope with your loss.
