I grew up across the street from the Klostermeiers in La Mesa, CA. and have so many wonderful childhood memories of all the neighborhood kids coming together to play hide and go seek at night. We used the yards of all the neighbor's to hide in with the Klostermeiers front yard being used as the "base" most of the time. Nancy, Laura and Tina were probably the fastest runners in the neighborhood. I don't think anybody could catch them. I'm sure their running speed was attributed to the fact that they were always barefoot. LoL. It was a pleasure to know the whole family and as I look back on life, those days were so very special. It was such a carefree time and a wonderful time to be a kid. God bless all your family, Laura. I know you and Nancy are reunited and we all look forward to seeing you again.

I remember Laura as being a beautiful, intelligent, highly esteemed person. She did so much for our community, especially with Planning & Zoning issues. She will be missed, to say the least. Prayers for her family for God's strength during this difficult time.

God Bless Laura
She was one of the sweetest people that I have had the pleasure to know since coming to Lake Havasu City. Generous and warm-hearted, a truly genuine individual. My Best Wishes go out to her beloved family members.
From Earth Angel to Heavenly Angel, a smooth transition for Laura!
Sincerely, Phyllis Smith

We are very sorry that Laura has passed. She was the BEST!
I left a phone message for Diane that I would like to speak at Laura's service on Thursday. I will only take about three to four minutes. I wanted to explain the positive impact the MCC nursing scholarships have made on our students. When Chad graduated from the nursing program, Laura attended the graduation ceremony and told me she was touched by our nursing students. She asked me how she could help them, I mentioned the scholarship program. The endowment has helped 18 students as of today and many more in the future. I have some thank you letters from those students and would like to summarize what their scholarships meant to them. Please call me at 855-7975 to discuss.

On behalf of the entire Mohave Community College Foundation, I offer you our condolences for the loss of Laura.
Laura was an exceptional person who deeply cared about her community. She was also a great supporter of Mohave Community College. Her friendship will be sorely missed.
Through the many generous scholarship donations made by both Laura and Jeff over the years, students of the college have benefited. Thus far, the Klostermeier Family Nursing Scholarship Endowment has sent 18 students from Lake Havasu City through Nursing School at MCC.
Without the generosity of Laura and Jeff, so many of these students would never have been able to attend College…and the many who come from low-income families would remain mired in poverty.
Laura and Jeff’s kindness and generosity has changed lives – not simply the lives of the nursing students who they helped achieve their educational goals, but also the lives of husbands, wives, sons and daughters – for when a student succeeds, whole families are lifted out of poverty. The impact of Laura and Jeff’s gift will be felt for generations to come.
Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

When death comes, it sobers and saddens our hearts, for it still remains the unpenetrated mystery. But none of us can escape parting from our loved ones, and it is on the "wings of death" that we "soar" a little closer to God and to each other. Death is just another step along the pathway of life and it gives so much meaning and purpose to all living. It gives us the great joy of heading happily towards the ultimate goal of every Christian, and that is to live forever in the "unending sunshine of God's love"! I believe we just "burst our bodies of clay" and go forth into new fields of usefulness. And just as God gives us our loved ones and he does not lose them in giving, so we do not lose them in returning them to Him.... for Life Is Eternal, Love is Immortal, and Death is just a Horizon beyond which we cannot see with our narrow, earthy vision.
Laura I love you and we will meet again!!
