Obituary of Ernest John Canonico

Ernest John Canonico: February 5, 1965 – April 16, 2016 Ernie Canonico of Lake Havasu City, Arizona passed away on Saturday, April 16th due to post-surgical complications with his family by his side at age 51. Ernie lived life to the fullest. He loved fishing, boating, skateboarding, riding motorcycles, jet skiing and all other manners of fun. More than that, he loved his family and friends. Ern-dog was a kid at heart and a huge animal lover. He loved being outdoors and spent many summers in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Recently, he was refurbishing stand-up jet skis, shredding at the local skate park and, of course, fishing. He is survived by his mother Linda, sisters Michelle (Fred) McCulloch and Jennifer (D.J.) Todd, brother Ray (Cindi) and nieces Linda Marie McCulloch and Allyson and Haylee Canonico. In addition, he is survived by his dog Abbie, his black lab and constant companion. He was pre-deceased by his father Raymond, sister Lynn Anne, cousin Gary Baier, uncle Gil Shank and grandparents. Services will be held grave-side this Thursday, April 21st at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens, 1698 Deer Run Drive in Lake Havasu. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ernie’s name to the Western Arizona Humane Society or Havasu Community Health Foundation. A graveside service will be held at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens (1698 Deer Run Dr. Lake Havasu City, AZ.) On Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 11:00 AM.
