Ernie was a great person to know and was a fun loving guy. He worked for me a few years and was ready to do anything I asked. Ernie always had a smile on his face. It was sad to see him with so many health problems but Erine endured them as long as he could. May he rest in peace and he will always be on my mind. So long Ernie from your friend. I also feel for the family who have been thru so much. Be Well Jim

It is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to my childhood friend. Through my later high school years, Ernie was my first true love and my best friend. Although I have not seen him in close to 20 years, I still feel like a piece of me, a piece of my childhood, a piece of my heart, is now missing. I have so many great memories that I will cherish forever. My thoughts and prayers are with the Canonico family. May you find peace in this time of sorrow. Rest in peace, my old friend. You will always be in my memories and my heart.

Sorry for your loss, he was a good friend for many years. I tutored Ernie when he was in third grade, we remained friends all these years. He recently helped me rebuild my house in Colorado. He will be missed. R.I.P. Earn-Dog....
