Obituary of Kenneth Lee Bowman

Ken passed away suddenly at the age of 72 on January 28, 2015 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. His parents, Janette and Henry Bowman preceded him. Ken was born in Cadillac, Michigan on July 16, 1942. Ken was married to and survived by his wife, Carol Johnson-Andreen Bowman on February 25, 1984 in Cadillac, Michigan. Ken is survived by 5 sons, Brian Bowman of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Randall Bowman of Allendale, Michigan; stepsons, Thomas Andreen, Jr. of Grawn, Michigan, Garrett Andreen of Owensboro, Kentucky, Joseph Andreen of Fort Collins, Colorado; brothers, Larry Bowman of Sebring, Florida, Howard Bowman of Summerfield, Forida; and 8 grandchildren. Ken and Carol spent most of their married life residing off Lake Michigan in Grand Haven. Ken enjoyed driving through the USA, golfing with family and friends, fishing, boating and hunting with his sons. Ken lived an active life especially working in his workshop where he loved to use his creative talents. Carol and Ken just moved to Leesburg,Forida where they planned to spend warm winters together during their retirement, then summers in Michigan with family and friends. They were married for 30 years. A memorial has been planned for this summer in Michigan. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
