This is Diana Chinn Julia oldest daughter. I can remember when Uncle Bill would come down to mom's house. He was a kind man. We have not seen him for at least 40 years and he was my Uncle Bill. Very very sad.

We were saddened to learn of the passing of William Hixon,"Uncle Bill" last Sunday morning the seventeenth of May 2015. He made a lot of good memories for me and Ngaire as well, these will help her in the next few years ahead. He is that special person that comes into one's life. He was that special person to me, too.

The wonderful adventures which you and Bill had through your 72 years of married life were often shared with those of us with whom you sat at the bridge table on Monday afternoons.
