Thank you Mary Lou
I hope all is well with you, Sheldon, kids, and grandkids. I will always remember throwing the football with Sheldon on Brian Lane. He always referred to David and I as "Girls". Thank you so much for reaching out. Love Ed

Thinking of you all this week and especially today as they scatter Jack's ashes over Lake Havasu. After the shock came so many memories of summer visits to Chittenango/Erieville. Despite the distance, there has always been a special bond with all of you. I wish I could be there to hug you all, and then share memories and laugh a little/cry a little. You are loved !!

Our friend Jack
I remember when my wife lost both her parents and I never really had a father in my life. In steps Jack and Sandy. Peggy and I quickly adopted them as parents. We introduced them to our racing world and I had no idea what I was creating. They took to it like a duck to water. The next thing I knew Jack was a track photographer. We will greatly miss having him at the track, his fatherly advice as I get my morning coffee, and our dinners on Thursday nights and Holidays. I look around at the photos in our house and there is Jack. All the pictures in my garage and there is Jack. He will always be with us. He taught us a lot about life and how to live it "always protect your family like a pit bull, live life to the fullest and always do the right thing." His sons told us "Thank you for letting our dad be a part of your lives" but it is us who should thank them for sharing their dad and letting US be a part of his life. We will truly miss this man we called Dad and our kids called Grandpa.
Love Always,
The Gerchman Family

Dear Sandy, Steve and Eddy,
We are so saddened to hear about Jack's passing.
Our thoughts go back to Brian Lane and all the fun
times we shared when our children were so young.
Time has moved on so quickly and our children are
now older than we were during those wonderful years.
We are blessed to have had that time with all of you.
The memories are forever. With all of our sympathy
and love,
Sheldon and Mary Lou
