Obituary of James E. Mahan

James E. Mahan, 68, of Lake Havasu City passed away on July 13, 2015. He was preceded in death by his mother, Irene Lohmeyer of Halstead, KS. He is survived by his wife, Janet Mahan of Lake Havasu City; a son, Adam Mahan of Scottsdale, AZ; a daughter, Abby Hammar of Tucson, AZ; and two grandchildren, Lux and Ziva of Tucson, AZ. Jim is also survived by a brother, Phil Mahan of Alma, KS; a sister, Jan Allison of Topeka, KS; and a sister, Cathy Harmes of Manhattan, KS. Jim was a 40 year resident of Lake Havasu City and a 37 year instructor of social and behavioral sciences at Mohave Community College. He retired from MCC 3-1/2 years ago.
