Hello Andres family,
I realize that this obituary for Donald Andres is many years old and the chances are that none of the family will see it but I'm hoping....my name is Marita Duffy, I live in Sligo, Ireland and my mother Delia Coleman (nee Gallagher) is a first cousin of Anna Marie (Marie) Andres (nee Elmlinger) so you guys are my cousins. I found Donald's obituary through Google as I'm working on a family tree when I have the time. My mother Delia is aged 93 and not in good health. She resides in a nursing home. I have 7 siblings, most living in the Sligo area and we range in age from mid 50s to late 60s. I recall a visit by Donald to my home when I was a very young child. He mostly came to visit my mother's aunt, Winifred Farry who lived in Buffalo all her working life and returned to Sligo when she retired and lived with our family until her death in 1970. Aunt Winnie later told me that Donald was on his way home from his tour of duty in the Korean war and stopped off in Ireland to visit her. He had a beard, that's all I recall.
