Obituary of Dana Lee Webb

Dana Lee Webb went home to be with his father July 30, 2013. Dana fought a valiant battle with cancer and finally succumbed to it with his loving wife Sue and brother, Danny by his side. Born August 26, 1950 in La Canada CA. He was preceded in death by his parents Don and Wanda Webb. Dana exceeded everyone's expectations when it came to high school academics and sports at Crescenta Valley High School and graduated in 1969. Dana excelled in quarter midget racing and held many local and state track records in California. Dana's love of cars and racing was fulfilled as a member of the NHRA Safety Safari Team in which he spent 15 years. Not only did Dana enjoy Automobiles in his free time, Dana also worked in the automotive repair industry and later in auto parts industry. Dana left California and moved to Lake Havasu because he loved to spend time on the lake in his boat, (Flaty) a flat bottom drag boat. Dana managed a new auto parts store here in Lake Havasu before retiring. Dana's natural spirit for family and community was an inspiration for all he worked with. Through the years Dana was recognized many times for the instrumental role he played in the stores success. Dana leaves behind his wife Sue Webb, her sons Joel, Jim and Ted (Kristen) and 3 granddaughters. He also leaves behind his brother Danny (Doris) nephew Douglas and cousins Ronnie and Larry Webb. Dana's smile and laughter will be missed. Funeral services will be held graveside at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale CA on Wednesday August 7, 2013 at 12:30 pm. In lieu of flowers donation's can be made to your favorite charity or to the Lake Havasu Humane Society in Dana's name.
