words can never express how much I loved my dad, he was the best father god could have ever given me. I am and always will be daddy's little girl. he got me anything I ever asked for, he even bought me a pony { it was a mean little pony, but I didn't care} he would take me to all the stock car races at onterio and riverside race way. and we both rooted for david pearson, we were always together. he did so much for me, it was an honor and a privilege that I was able to be with him when he needed me. he was my hero. I love you and will miss you soo very much. raelee griswold

We have known Frank for 45 years. He was one of the most compassionate, giving, caring people we have ever met. From reading some of the comments from others, and talking to people about him, everyone felt the same. If you needed something done, Frank was first in line to help.
Some people are just likable. Frank was one of them.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Frank and his family,
Vince & Judi Zuccaro

"Frank was the best brother a sister could have, Frank had the biggest heart he would do anything he could do for anybody, I don't know if I can watch a cardinal game again because Frank and I would call each other during the whole game and talk about the plays good or bad if it was bad Frank would tell me to drive to St Louis and have a talk with the team. I would laugh at him and he would say well Sis you live in ARK. that's a lot closer than me and you know you are meaner than me . I Love you so much it so hard to believe you are no longer with us but I have great joy knowing I will see you again someday in heaven just keep looking for me because I will be looking for you Love you so much. Your little sis Cheryl "

We will always remember Frank as a big hearted guy who would do anything to help someone. Bob remembers Frank wearing his St. Louis Cardinal's uniform to all of the Lucky district 1 golf tournaments. As he recalls wearing the uniform never seemed to bring him good luck but Frank always had a good time. When I worked with Frank he loved Nascar and his favorite driver was David Pearson . He bought a car that looked the same as the one Pearson drove. I will always remember how much Frank loved his family. Frank was a great friend and will be missed by many. Our thoughts and prayers are with his many friends and family. Bob and Betty Wiebe

My wife Rebecca worked for Frank in Indio she always had great things to say about Frank. I met frank in 1970 at Lucky Store #455 I later worked for him at San Bernardino Gemco as his Assistant manager. One day Frank came up to me and said you have an appointment this afternoon at the District office, I replied back what did I do wrong. Frank said you did nothing wrong you are getting promoted don't be late for your meeting.. I will always have great memories about Frank.

I met Frank about 1986 when I got transferred to Victorville Gemco as his assistant mgr. I remember he loved salt. When we got burgers for lunch he would put so much salt on it you couldn't see the meat. We later worked together again in Moreno Valley Lucky. Every night when we left we would talk on our CBs until we were out of range. He always talked about his Motorhomes and got me hooked on them also. The light of his life were his wife Alice and Daughter Raelee. Then came his yearly fishing trips with his close Lucky Stores Brothers. He told me about fifty times of the Bisquits and Gravy he would make in the morning for them. We will all miss you Frank ( I would call him Dad once in a while at work ). Catch the Big One up there.

It has been an Honor to call Frank a Friend for the last 45 years. Most people come & go : very few , if any , remain Friends for life. Frank & I shared good times & bad. We agreed to disagree & still remained Friends to the end. Frank & I fished the Eastern High Sierra for many of the 45 years, camping at Silver Lake. I will miss his biscuits & gravy , along with his Huge heart & sense of humor.I always felt as though I was part of the Family, whether visiting or just talking on the phone. To the Family , I love you as much as I did Frank ! I miss him along with you & a hole developed in my life the day he passed. Rest in Peace My Friend! Until we meet again. We Love you! My sincere condolences to the family of Frank Dabney, Jr. May you find comfort in your loving memories, and in God's promise to soon "swallow up death forever" and "wipe away the tears from all faces." (Isaiah 25;8) While grief at the loss of Frank is great, joy at welcoming him back to life in paradise on earth will be greater. (Mark 5;42) With deepest sympathy,
