Obituary of James Leonard Fessler

JAMES LEONARD FESSLER "JIMMY THE GREEK" James Leonard Fessler passed away October 9, 2013 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 72. He was born August 28, 1941 in Saginaw, MI to Leonard Wellington Fessler and Angela Ann Mangoros. Jimmy the Greek, as he was known by his friends, and his wife married September 6, 1984 in Stanwood, MI they relocated to Lake Havasu City, AZ in 1997 after Jim retired from the State of Michigan after 30 years. Jim was an active member of the Elks #974 in Big Rapids, MI and the Eagles # 4299 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Linda Fessler of Lake Havasu City, AZ; his two sons, Jim (Joey) Fessler of Montague, MI and Art (Jill) Fessler of West Dundee, IL; two step-children, Tammy (Don) Fegenbush of Morley, MI and Terry (Dawn) Anderson of Morley, MI; 13 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and his sisters Mary (Andy) Oldeck of Oscoda, MI and Joane Heft of Saginaw, MI. He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Eagles on Monday, November 4, 2013 at 2:00 PM.
