I'm sorry, Linda to hear of you and your family's loss. I worked as the Grand Rapids District secretary and "Jimmy" would come into the office periodically. He was always fun to talk with. He brought smiles and joy when he came into the office. I always enjoyed seeing him.

Linda,
I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I fondly remember all the crazy times partying with you and the Big Rapids Elks. Lynn Cook, Daryl Best and Tim were probably waiting at the gate when Jim arrived in heaven.

I worked with Jim at MDOT. I didn't get to interact with him often as he was out in the field most of the time, and I was working the front desk and phones. When he did come into the office, he was a pleasure to talk to and I remember him being a very nice man. If more people would emulate Jim, this world would be a better place.

I remember the time when Popa came and visited me in Michigan. We were in the screened in porch, and you told me never to smoke. I promise I never will. Love and miss you, Mitchell Fessler, age 11.
