ROGER JAMES MEIXNER
Roger James Meixner 65 of Lake Havasu City passed away on November 28, 2013 as the result of an automobile accident. He was born December 8, 1947 in Owatonna, MN to Richard and Delores Lorraine (Caswell) Meixner.
Roger worked for many years in California as a construction superintendant. He has made his home in Arizona for over 20 years.
Roger was a true outdoorsman. He loved hunting and fishing, and was never happier than when he was camping in the desert with his wife, Karen and their 3 dogs.
Roger was a member of the American Legion and a member of the Elks Club of Lake Havasu City.
Roger is survived by his wife and soul mate, Karen of Lake Havasu City; mother, Delores of Minnesota; son Michael (fiancée Laura) of Lake Havasu City; daughter Sara of Kingman; brothers Richard (Elberta) and Jim; sisters Judy (Norm) Reeve and Sharon Bertoldi, all of Minnesota; step-sons Shawn (Becki) Whithead of California; Ryan Johnson of Lake Havasu City; step-daughter Sarah (Brian) Kocher of Colorada; granddaughter Miranda of Lake Havasu City as well as 2 step-grandsons; 4 step-granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father. Roger will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
At his request, there will be no formal services. His ashes will be scattered by his children at a later date in Minnesota near the grave of his father.
