Please accept my heartfelt sympathy at this difficult time in your lives. I hope that you can take comfort in knowing that our Heavenly Father, Jehovah God did not intend death to be and he views it as an enemy. (1 Corinthians 15:26) In the future through his Son Christ Jesus, he will resurrect "all those in the memorial tombs" to live under much better conditions, right here on a Paradise earth. They will find "their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace" when there is no more war, crime or sickness. Roger, you were a friend the first day I met you when you came into the bank. We spent many hours visiting and talking Harleys. Because of the first bike you bought and brought it by the bank to show me, I also purchased one just like it. Everyone that knew Roger, knew his heart was a big as the great outdoors, which he loved so much. I have been proud to call you my friend, I will always, call you my friend and I enjoyed our visit just two days prior when you stopped by. I am going to miss you, as I know your family has and will. You loved them all greatly. Be assured, Roger is with our Father and I know we'll meet up again. Probably by some lake in Heaven fish'n and tell'n stories. My love to Karen and all his family. My heart breaks for the pain you're feeling and the loss of a truly caring man. We'll see ya down the road my good friend. Loved the time we had.

I have known Roger most of my life. When I was young I thought how big and handsome he was. I was 14 when he and my sister Roxanne took me to my first concert to see the Eagles. I visited when they lived in Minnesota and Roger made sure he found a friend with a Ski boat to take me out on the lake skiing. The last time I saw Roger I was at my sisters in Kingman at Christmas time. My daughter, son in law and three Grandkids were there. We ate, told stories and talked about the past and future. He and my son in law Miah, his son Mike all planned and went on a hunting trip. I will think of Roger and remember the last time we were all together and Smile! Rest in peace..... Love, Cindy

Roger J. "Bear" Meixner . . . Gone, but never forgotten... No more aches & pains - only Gods warmth & comfort.. I had the pleasure of sharing some of this time called life with Roger and my life was enriched by his friendship. ROGER, ( aka: 'MN Kid'; 'Mountain Man'; 'Bear'): A man who loved life; A man who shared life; A man who shared himself & his love & talents with others. A man who touched the hearts and souls of many. The times we spent together in Gods wondrous Mountains High and at the lakes edge and even under the water; The Dreams and Plans we talked of, around the fire pit, or over an Ice Cream cone are put on hold for awhile…. Keep a log on the fire, I'll be along in awhile.

Dad, I know in my heart that you are at peace now. I will always treasure the times we had hunting at skinner ridge for elk and fishing for the big one. And spending time by the fire in the woods talking about life and laughing. And some of your favorite sayings Like it's 9 am and your not up half the day is over!! Or when we would sight our rifles in out in the desert and you would hit close and say That's in the Kill Zone!! Dad I will miss you and Will see you again someday. I love you Mike

Dad, I never thought I would see this day. I will carry you in my heart forever and all the memories we shared. I remember our trip to minnesota when I was young and the bologna sandwhiches. I remember the trout fishing and most of all the great times we spent up here in the mountains when you came to visit. It started snowing today and I thought of you and the fires we had in the backyard. I miss you dad but I know you are by my side and watching over me. I will always be your little girl.
