Please share a memory of Sondra to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Sondra Carolyn Woller, 71, passed away January 19 in Lake Havasu City after courageously battling Cancer for 6 years. She was born to Mildred and Edgar Camp on December 1, 1944 in Reedley, California. Sondra lived and worked in the San Joaquin Valley, including working for the Railroad as a young girl. She began her career with Pacific Bell telephone company and worked there as an operator, clerk, and service technician until she retired after 28 years of service. Sondra also worked as an advocate in the courtroom and community for abused and neglected children through CASA and Tulare Unified School District's Just Say No program which teaches children about inappropriate touching. In 1980 she met and married her best friend, Dale Woller. In 1997 they moved to Laclede, Idaho. While in Idaho, Sondra loved serving at Laclede Community Church, teaching Sunday School, cooking and helping set up for socials, or volunteering her time wherever it was needed. She also served on the board of the Food Bank, was part of the Laclede Community Center, Chairman of the board for FEMA of Bonner County, and adored volunteering at the Sandpoint Festival's "Lost in the 50's" yearly event with her sister-in-law Joan Woller. Sondra was an avid reader and loved going on cruises with her husband. She loved the many cross country trips she and Dale took by car as well as the numerous trips to Michigan they took on Amtrak. Sondra adored spending time with her children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren and watching them grow. She wished she lived closer to all of her family. After being diagnosed with Cancer, Sondra and Dale moved to Lake Havasu City to be closer to family and better medical technology. Sondra is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Edwin Camp (Marilyn). She is survived by her husband, Dale Woller, her daughters Samantha Wyant (Steve), Laura Woller Peoples, Karen Fleming, son Tim Woller (Donna), granddaughters Peyten Wyant, Skyler Peoples, Taylyn Peoples, grandsons Shawn Fleming (Samantha), Joshua Fleming, Mathew Fleming, Ian Woller, great-grandsons Braxton Fleming, Colt Fleming, Timothy Woller, Draven Woller, sister Nancy Hansen (Tom), brothers George Camp (Christine), Jesse Camp (Pat). The family would like to thank The Polidori House hospice staff for the loving, compassionate care they showed Sondra and her loved ones.
