Sondra brought a beautiful light to my life for the last 16 years. There are no words to share all of the memories that you make when you live next door, work together, go to church together and have dinner at least once a week together, spend all major holidays and the sharing of grief together also.
I can only hope that I brought her as much joy in her life as she brought to me in mine. I did get the privilege of her asking me to go into the river with her when she was Baptized.
What a glorious day that was.
Sondra was always the perfect example of what a true friend is, I could not have loved her more if we had been blood sisters.
She gave me a stained glass heart once that says "God made us sister, hearts made us friends."
She cannot come back to us but we will go to her one day, wait for me, my friend. I love you.
