Dear Foley family,
Roger and I were so sad to hear of Patrick's passing. Kingman has lost such a good man. In an age when "common decency" has become an oxymoron, men of Patrick's character are rare and to be treasured. Corliss, you and Patrick have given our community stability, now we pray for God's comfort for your heart. You are good people and we appreciate you. Patrick Jr., your ol' Spanish teacher still loves you and cares that you all are hurting.
Grief work is truly work, a recovery that begins with acceptance. Having gone down this journey ourselves, we know the struggle to deal with the acute feelings of those first months, then to transition to acceptance and the gradual opening to life on the other side of this loss. None of this is natural to any of us, so our continual prayers for all of you will be that you stay turned in God's direction for His help, His counsel, and His strength. We also pray that He will raise up a whole army of encouragers to listen to your hearts, put a shoulder up against yours, and sojourn with you for the long haul.
Our hearts beat with yours,
Roger and Stephanie Murillo
