Roberta and family, I never had the pleasure of meeting Warren, though I do remember dad talking about he and Wilbur at times through the years. It's times like this that I regret being so caught up in my own life that I seldom took time to get to know my relatives. I can't imagine your pain, but I am sure, that God's mercies, your memories and hope for the future God had promised to his faithful ones will get you through. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Roberta , It has been some time since I have seen you or been in touch and I have missed seeing you two. My wife , Sue, and I moved from LHC about 6 years ago and now we are in Tucson and glad to be back from Colorado and into the warm climate again. It was such a thrill for me to just drop in on you and chat for a while. I am so very sorry for your loss . It was such a joy for me to talk with you and Warren and though we spent very little time together you two were a part of our family for many years through stories my father recounted of his dear cousins Warren and Wilber . Dad passed away july 3rd 2013 in Georgia and we all miss him so much . He often asked if I had had a chance to see you and Warren and spoke of you both with great admiration and love . Warren will surley be missed and I would like to stay in touch with you . Seems like the Gorton clan just keeps getting smaller and time is so precious . Our # in Tucson is 520-760-6684 and my cell is 970-529-6900. I have been keeping you in my prayers and I know there are lots of great memories you have of days gone by that will warm your heart and bring a smile to your face throughout the day. Roberta and family, please accept my heartfelt sympathy for your loss. I have so many wonderful memories of the time I spent with Warren and our conversations about so many different subjects. Whether it be talking while fishing or sitting next to him at a slot machine it was always a good time. I hope these memories help heal the void left by Warrens passing. Bruce Higgins
