Obituary of Albert BARTLETT

Albert Louis "Al" Bartlett May 29, 1948 - October 7, 2011 Albert passed away from a tragic accident while working at his home on October 7, 2011 in Oracle, AZ. He was born to Jerrell and Barbara Bartlett in Searcy, AR on May 29, 1948. Al graduated from Sparks High in 1967, enlisted in the United States Army and married the love of his life, Cathy A. McKay on April 7, 1968. He served in the military until 1971 when he was honorably discharged and joined his family in Lake Havasu City. After his discharge from the Army, Al went on to own his own business including an auto mechanic shop, one of the first tour bus operations, a horse shoer and a long haul truck driver. Al loved water sports, racing off-road, was a horse enthusiast and most of all loved doing it all with his wife, children and grandchildren. Al leaves behind his beloved family, wife, Cathy; sons, Duane and Eric; daughters, Angela and Deborah; father and mother, Jerrell and Barbara Bartlett; sister, Beverly and brother-in-law, Tom Hinsley; grandchildren, Tyler, Amanda, Teresa and McKenzie; sister-in-law, Sue Mesler; brothers -in-law, Mike McKay and Jim McKay; mother-in-law, Pat McKay and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A viewing will be held at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home on Friday, October 14, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2011, 3:00 PM at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens. A celebration of Al's life will follow at Shugrue's at 4:30 PM.
