I was informed of Al Bartlett passing yesterday by one of his fellow truck drivers. I'm very sorry of your loss of a great man, husband, father and friend. I am a security guard and it was always a pleasure to always see Mr. Bartlett come in. He was a joy to meet, always smiling, talked highly of his family and his love for truck driving. God bless your family during this time.

Mr. Bartlett, You were always so happy and made me laugh and you helped me become more used to getting teased with all your clever jokes and sayings. Thank you for being so wonderful to me when I would come play with Amanda for hours and always cleaning me up when I fell down and letting me sit on your lap when everyone would watch NASCAR. You are a wonderful man and will make an even better angel. I'm grateful I had the opportunity to know you.

I received the phone call from Duane today and I am so sorry for your loss. He was a great husband, father and man. He made me laugh for many years with the stories he would come in with, while I was cutting his hair. He always had a smile on his face and loved to kid around. He is greatly missed by all. Uncle J.D., Aunt Barbara, Cathy and family, Beverly Jo and family: We are simply devastated to hear of Al's accident and passing. While we cannot be there to see you and hug you at this time, please know you all are in our thoughts and prayers every day. Al was like a second dad to me growing up. The adventures that Angie and I would have at your house was awesome. You left us way too soon. I will never forget the two summers Angie, Duane and I spent cleaning those tour buses so we could go to Disneyland. So much fun! So many memories. Looking through the pictures of us on the lake and when Angie and I were little were priceless. You will always have a special place in my heart along with my mom and dads heart also. You will truly be missed.
