McLean," Kenny" Kenneth Karl. Born in Detroit, Michigan July 10th 1939. Passed away March 8th 2016 at Kingman Regional Medical Center from complication of a cerebral stroke.
Kenny attended High School in El Monte California before entering the U.S. Army and served in the Suez Canal. It was on a military base in France where he met his wife Barbara.
He loved music, played the drums and formed Rock and Roll bands that entertained at night clubs in Florida and Southern California. When not entertaining he drove truck for Lucky Stores and retired in 1997.
He sang in the choir of the "Upper Room Church of Parker" Arizona and most recently attended Meadview Baptist Church. He was always outgoing and would visit the sick and homebound to pray, sing and transport them to church if needed.
Kenny is survived by wife of 50 years, Barbara. Sons: Kenneth and Curtis, Granddaughters: Brianna and Allison, Grandson: Stephen, and 4 great-grandchildren. Also, survived by his mother Sylvia, Brothers: Richard, Joel, Mike and a Sister Susan. Kenny is preceded in death by his father Carleton and Brother Gary.
Kenny loved to read the bible daily and his family is comforted to know he accepted Christ as his savior.
A service is planned for Thursday March 31, 10:30am, at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside California.
Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
