Obituary of Marian Margaret Eldridge

Marian Margaret Eldridge died at Gems Assisted Living in Lake Havasu City, Arizona on December 22, 2015. Born in Chicago, Illinois on April 25, 1925, she was the only daughter of Joseph and Margaret Hamilton. A retired bookkeeper and office manager, Marian and her husband, Carl moved to Lake Havasu from Phoenix in 1989. As a new member of Mount Olive Lutheran Church, Marian introduced the Cursillo movement to the Mount Olive community and played an active role for many years. She loved her Church and her Church family. Marian had many friends and everyone loved her for her wit and sense of humor. Marian was preceded in death by her husband, Carl; her daughter, Margaret Housel and her parents, Joseph and Margaret Hamilton. She is survived by her grandsons, Wayne and Michael Melgaard and son-in-law, Ken Housel. A memorial service will take place at Mount Olive Lutheran Church on January 9, 2016 at 11:00 am. Donations may be made to Mount Olive Lutheran Church building fund. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
