Susie Johannes succumbed to a long bout with pancreatic cancer on March 17, 2012 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 59. She was born on April 18, 1952 in Glendale, CA to James and Gladys (Clinton) Schrage. Susie was a realtor and a business owner during her 18 years in Lake Havasu City. She loved traveling, camping, boating, off-roading, trip to Glamis sand dunes and all things outdoors. Susie finally found the love of her life in Mike Eastman and they shared eight wonderful years together. Susie raised three sons of her own, but she mothered, consoled and cared for a generation of children during her time in Lake Havasu City, and she will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all that met her. She was a wonderful, caring and charismatic partner, mother, sister, daughter and friend Susie is survived by her soul mate Mike Eastman; sons Ryan Anding of Los Angeles, CA, Mat Anding of Lake Havasu City, AZ and Tyler Johannes of Phoenix, AZ; father Pete Schrage of Lake Havasu City, AZ; mother Gladys Schrage of Lake Havasu City, AZ and brothers Jim Schrage of Valencia, CA and Jeff Schrage of Saugus, CA. A memorial for her will be held at Calvary Baptist Church in Lake Havasu City, AZ on April 21, 2012 at 12 pm. An informal celebration of her life will also be held at Desert Bar in Parker, AZ on April 22. Both events will open to all of her friends and family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Susie Johannas Memorial at Wells Fargo Bank. Donations will help pay for college tuition expenses for her sons.
