I would like to give my sincere condolences to the family and friends of Mr. John Adkins. I did not know him personally, but I am sure that he will be most dearly missed. Losing a loved one in death is often a very difficult experience to go through, but please know that you are not alone. God takes notice of the sorrow and sadness that you are feeling (1 Peter 5:7). He has promised that soon, no one will ever have to experience losing a loved one in death, nor the grief, pain, and sadness that so often accompanies it (Revelation 21:4). We also have the wonderful hope of being able to enjoy life with our dead loved ones once again (Acts 24:15). I hope that these thoughts will provide a measure of comfort in this difficult time.
