Alice Kirchgasler, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. Passed away peacefully in Lake Havasu
City AZ.
Alice Marie Hansen was born in Aberdeen, SD to Carl M. Hansen and Tena V. Hansen.
She was raised in Aberdeen, graduating from Aberdeen Central High School.
On December 2, 1950 she was united in marriage to Harold "Kirk" Kirchgasler. Together they raised three children. Nancy (Doug) Kennon, Owatonna, MN, Steven (Lauri) Kirchgasler, Devils Lake, ND and Becky (Kim) Heimerl, Evansville, WI.
Alice was the sixth of seven children. Her surviving siblings are Helen Lewis, Desert Hot Springs, CA, Donald Hansen, Broken Arrow, OK and Norma Schlekeway, Spearfish, SD.
Alice was preceded in death by her brother, Howard Hansen, and sisters, Eleanor Janisse and Pearl Parks. She leaves behind her husband, children, eight granddaughters and eight great grandchildren.
Alice was a dedicated Hospice volunteer and she spent time helping others in the final days of their lives. It seems fitting that Hospice was able to give back to her as Alice spent the final days of her life in the care of Polidori House Hospice in Lake Havasu, AZ. A memorial service to celebrate Alice's special life will be held in the summer at the Ne So Dak Bible Camp at Enemy Swim Lake in South Dakota.
