Jane Elizabeth Kraitzer, age 88, passed peacefully away surrounded by her family at Sierra View District Hospital in Porterville, CA on Thursday April 5, 2012. Jane was born on May 1, 1923 in Hinsdale, IL to George and Myra White. Jane married at the age of 19. She was a dedicated and supportive military wife and mother, a loving housewife and an active member of her church community. Jane had an endless love for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and brought her children up to love him as well. She is survived by her brother William White and 2 sons and 2 daughters; Jay Lyons of Wheaton, IL, Jack Kraitzer of Lake Havasu City, AZ, Tammy (and Mike) Woods or Porterville, CA and Mary Bennett of Las Vegas, NV. She was blessed with 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Jane was preceded in death by her husband of 9 years, Frank Lyons (1942 - 1951), her husband of 40 years Angelo Kraitzer (1953 - 1993), her son William Perry Lyons (1970) and 3 unborn children. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday April 13, 2012 at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens. A reception will follow at First Southern Baptist Church.
