I had the pleasure of working with John at Lake Havasu High School a number of years ago. As a young teacher and coach back then, he was a good mentor for me, always willing to help, lend advice, give encouragement, and share a laugh. Thanks for all that you did, Coach! You will be missed!

I played football for coach Edmonds in the mid 90s. He had a way of always making it fun! Even in the 100 degree heat running wind sprints. Before every game he would tell us stories that were absolutely hilarious! That took away all of the nervousness and just made it fun! But he was always WAY more than a football coach all his players! To me he was a second father, except the kind that wouldnt yell at you! He had a way of making you realize your own mistakes and offer his guidance. He taught us that life was more than football. I remember his grandaughter Heather would come to many of our practices and Coach would love it. He would even have her yell at us if we were messing up. He loved his family, he loved his players, he loved his job. He was a man of great character who taught us life lessons that really only he could. RIP coach and Thank you for everything. Because of you I am a better man.

How saddened we were to learn of Ken's passing. A great teacher and dedicated coach, we will always remember him fondly as a friend and fellow faculty member at Lake Havasu High School who truly made a difference in countless lives. Rest well, Ken--you will be missed! Mike and Diane Cichinsky
