He was born on March 3, 1946 in Huffman, Arkansas. George lived in Lake Havasu City for over 37 years where he perfected the art of drywall; he really enjoyed fishing and being at the lake. George was a generous fun-loving man who knew no stranger. He was a loving father, caring brother, and compassionate friend. George was loved by many and will be missed. George is survived by his three children Cindy (Rosario) Medina, Kirk W. Lawrence and Carol (Ray) Darrow and two grandsons Chris Tizard and Ray Darrow, Jr.; mother Lorene Wright & step-father Marvin Wright; six brothers & sisters, Glenda Batchelor, Linda Grant Kirk, Jesse Wayne Lawrence, Steven Glen Lawrence, Rickie Dale Wright and Leamon Andrew Wright. George was preceded in death by William Howard Lawrence, father and Charles Wilburn Lawrence, brother. No services are planned at this time.
