ELDON N. SANBORN Eldon N. Sanborn passed away May 7, 2012 in Lake Havasu City at the age of 92. He was born on November 17, 1919 to Ira and Elsie (Rose) Sanborn in Plevna, MT. Sandy as he was known to his family and friends, served in the Army from 1942 - 1945. Sandy served in WWII China & India. He was honorably discharged early for merit because he volunteered for dangerous duty driving a gasoline truck over the Burma Road. Sandy was a member of the Elks, he was a master gardener, and he enjoyed reading, astro physics, hunting and collecting guns. Sandy lost his beloved spouse of nearly 65 years, Alyce in 2009. Sandy is survived by his 2 daughters and his 2 dogs Yahoo & Rascal. Sandy is very grateful to all his caregivers especially Lavon Ruteledge, his social worker Beth Biehn and all his community helpers.
