Karen Ann Kempe, 58, passed away on December 25, 2015 in Redhill, England. She was born and raised by Elizabeth and Arthur Michael on September 17, 1957 in Illinois. She has been a resident of Lake Havasu City for 18 years. Karen was a bartender and she loved being around people. She loved gambling, boating and being out in the sun. She always had to look her best with fancy jewelry and clothes. She loved her mean cat who hated everyone else. She was loved by many people and had many friends; she was a "people" person. She was very friendly and always had to make sure her children were taken care of. She was a member of the American Legion. Karen is survived by her son, Tyler Schwed of Hanover Park, IL; daughter, Tara Crosby of North Aurora, IL; brothers, Paul and Ken Michael of Lake Havasu City, AZ; and her grandchildren, Aubrianna, Jack and Grace. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth and Arthur Michael. A visitation at 11:00 AM and funeral service at 1:00 PM will be held at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home on Friday, January 15th.
