Val & I have fond memories of Wes and all the work he did for the Bands. Being in the H.S Band Class of 81', I remember 180 members marching onto that football field and having a blast. That was the days when the London Bridge Day parade was something to see. Not to mention the trip to Portland. He will be missed.

Dear Todd,
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your dad. You know that I thought the world of him. I have always believed that it was his belief in my voice helped me to use it. I cantor at my church every week (for the last 42 years!!) because of the confidence he gave me.
I lost my mom last year after her long battle, so I can empathize with you and your brother's loss. My prayers go out to you and your family. May God send you his peace.
Love you always,
Jane

Mrs. Humphrey and Family I am sorry for your loss, my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. Mr Humphrey was the only reason that I finished and graduated from Lake Havasu High. His teaching, guidance and friendship got me through those years. His extra involvement with us, such as his idea for the tuba quintet I was in, made it worth staying and finishing school. Thanks, Wes, you will never be forgotten.

What a delight to have known Wes Humphrey! During my six years in Havasu he made my time playing flute in the symphonic winds not only musically rewarding and educational but also inspiring and lots of fun. I am truly grateful to have known him and been blessed by his unselfish sharing of his time and talents

Mrs. Humphrey and Family,
My deepest sympathies are with you today. Mr. Humphrey made a tremendous impact on my life the day I met him. Not only was he a wonderful musician, but he was a leader, a mentor, and a friend. I feel so blessed to have played for him and even more blessed that my 17 year old son had the opportunity to play with him in the Community Orchestra. I loved seeing him every Friday night at the High School football games!
His legacy will live on in all of us...
God bless you all.
Sincerely,
Niki Schafer (Linnenkamp) and Austin Schafer

Mrs. Humphrey and family,
I was saddened to hear about Mr. Humphrey. I believe with all my heart that he was the greatest high school marching band director ever...and I wasn't even in band. I was in choir from 9th to 11th grade (77-80) under his direction. What an amazing man and musician.
He will be missed, but he lives on in the lives of all he touched.
