Obituary of Ralph Allen Heiken

Ralph Allen Heiken Ralph Allen Heiken passed away at his residence at Lake View Terrace in Lake Havasu City, AZ on March 28, 2014 at the age of 84. Ralph was born in Monticello, Iowa in 1930 and grew up on the Heiken ranch outside of Broadview, Montana. He graduated from Billings Senior High School and Montana State University with a degree in Industrial Arts. Ralph was a veteran with the Air Force, and held his pilots license in his younger years. After returning from duty he started making glulam wood beams at his Dad's farm in Broadview, and then moved and expanded the business to Columbus, Montana. He was president and co-owner of Timberweld Mfg. for 25 years. He sold the business and retired to Lake Havasu, AZ in 1983. Ralph enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, and Montana outdoors, andhe especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Ralph is survived by his wife Donna, his daughter Cindy DeWolf, Sons Kyle and Maurie Heiken, Grandson Jason DeWolf, Granddaughter Jenifer DeWolf, Step-granddaughter Maggie Lease. His brothers, Dural, Hobert, Steve, Clyde, and sisters, Marie, Cleo and Karen. May he rest in peace. Services will be held at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home on April 3, 2014 at 2:00 PM. Military Honors will be rendered by the VFW Post 9401 and the American Legion Post 81.
