ALBERT C. LASSEIGNE Albert C. Lasseigne, passed away June 18, 2012 peacefully at his home in Lake Havasu City, with his wife and daughter Leslie by his side. Al, as he was known to his family and friends, was born on December 27, 1921 in New Orleans, LA to Albert and Sophia (Miller) Lasseigne. Following high school graduation, Al enlisted in the United States Navy on October 5, 1942 and was Honorably Discharged on October 29, 1945. Al then went to work for Rockwell International as a Tool and Die Maker, retiring in 1979. After retirement, Al and his wife Bertha enjoyed creating various projects together, but his greatest passion was the Stock Market. Most of all, Al was an awesome husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Al is survived by his loving wife of 53 years and the love of his life, Bertha; daughters Janice Cramer and her husband Michael and Leslie Mansell and her husband Wayne; brother Lionel and wife Luella Lasseigne, grandchildren Lance, Lisa, Jennifer, Stacie, Bryan, Matthew, Steven, Mike and Melissa as well as 18 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Steven Lasseigne. He will be dearly missed by his entire family. Rest in Peace "Honey & Daddy" Visitation and Rosary will be held on Sunday June 24, 2012 at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Visitation will be from 6 PM to 8 PM with Rosary at 7 PM. Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at 10 AM at American Martyrs Church in Manhattan Beach, CA. graveside service will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, CA. Military Honors will be rendered by the United States Navy Military Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to Hospice of Havasu in Al's name.
