JAMES LALISTER CULBRETH James Lalister Culbreth passed away June 18, 2012 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 79. Jimbo, as he was known by his family and friends, was born April 15, 1933 in Roseboro, NC to Benjamin W. and Lula Mae (Horne) Culbreth. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 10 years Elisa Baldonado Culbreth Jimbo served in the Navy for 20 years and later worked as an Air Traffic Controller, He lived in Lake Havasu City, AZ for 22 years. Jimbo was a member of the American Legion, VFW, Eagles and Fleet Reserve ( Branch 120). Jimbo leaves behind a son John Culbreth and his wife Janet who reside in Germany; daughter Janet and her husband Tom of Cedar City, UT; grandson Shaun Whitfield; granddaughters Shannon Whitfield and Tara Matson of Las Vegas and Jamie Hall of Texas; great grandchildren Madison, Donovan, RileyAnn, Bella and Lilly all of Las Vegas. A celebration of Jimbo's life will be held at the Eagles Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 4:00 PM. Military honors will be rendered by American Legion Post 81 and VFW Post 9401.
